How to Read Your Boxing Analysis Report
After uploading a session to CombatSense AI, you receive a comprehensive performance report. This guide explains every section and how to use the data to improve your training.
Section 1: Session Grade (A–F)
Your overall session grade is a composite score calculated from training quality (40%), consistency rating (30%), and strike frequency (30%).
- Grade A (90–100): Elite performance. Maintain this level.
- Grade B (75–89): Strong session with minor areas for improvement.
- Grade C (60–74): Average performance. Focus on consistency.
- Grade D (45–59): Below average. Review technique fundamentals.
- Grade F (<45): Significant issues detected. Consider coaching support.
Section 2: Session Overview
Total Strikes: The raw count of punches detected. For a 3-minute round, 60–90 strikes indicates good work rate. Strikes per Minute: Your punch output rate. Elite boxers average 80–120 strikes per minute in training. Beginners typically start at 30–50. Training Intensity: Classified as Very Low, Low, Moderate, High, or Very High based on strikes per minute.Section 3: Performance Scores
Six metrics rated 0–100 cover training quality, consistency, overall efficiency, strike precision, power efficiency, and coordination index.
Consistency is particularly important — it measures how repeatable your technique is across the session. High consistency means your punches look similar each time, a sign of good muscle memory.Section 4: Punch Breakdown
This section shows the distribution of punch types detected. A balanced distribution suggests good combination variety. Over-reliance on one punch type (>60%) may indicate a technical habit to address.
Section 5: Power & Speed
Three sub-sections cover power, speed, and technique scores with average, peak, and minimum values. If your peak is much higher than your average, you have inconsistent power output. If your minimum is very low, you may be fatiguing mid-session.
Section 6: Fatigue Analysis
The fatigue score estimates how much your performance declined during the session. A score above 0.5 suggests significant fatigue — consider shorter, more intense sessions or improving conditioning.
Section 7: Strike Timeline
A chronological list of every detected punch with timestamp, type, speed, and power. Use this to identify combination patterns, periods of high and low activity, and technique changes as fatigue sets in.
Section 8: Coach Feedback
AI-generated recommendations including strengths, focus areas, concrete improvement suggestions, and targets for your next training session.
Using Your Data Over Time
Single session data is useful. Trend data is transformative. After 10+ sessions, you will see whether your strike rate is increasing, if your consistency is improving, which punch types are developing fastest, and how your fatigue resistance is changing.
